Title: Niagara Falls Pitcher

Description

In the early 20th century German factories made transfer decorations of most American tourist sites for items to remember when the travelers went home. There are gold Maple leaves possibly alluding to Canada and the falls are well detailed. The pitcher is in mint condition.

Title: Porcelain Pitcher

Description

Two light olive green bands with a darker green trimmed in brown glaze form the decoration of this Arts and Crafts era pitcher. The slip has an applied dot feel and there is a very light crazing on the surface. There are probably two air bubbles that have exploded in firing leaving small dents but they do not appear to be chips. The Arts & Crafts era appeal is undeniable in the surface of this piece.
